Since launching America’s Barber Coach & Co., Lamont Brown has consistently brought a passion and dedication to the industry each day. His experience and ability to articulate 'barber education' in a practical and barber-preneurial manner, separates him from average educators. He educates in a fun and digestable way, which makes him the perfect choice as your barber coach.

Lamont is a 1998 graduate of Cain's Barber College in Chicago, Illinois and completed his barber instructor program in 2017 at Legacy Barber College in Glenwood, Illinois.

His second-to-none education has produced over 50,000 haircuts, several years in management and ownership; including launching one of the first mobile barber shops in the country (August of 2012).

Lamont eventually expanded his education to national tradeshows across the country with Bronner Brothers International Hair & Trade Show (Atlanta, New Orleans), America’s Beauty Show Hair & Trade Show (Chicago), The Premiere Hair and Trade Show (Orlando) and Arizona Barber Expo (Glendale).

Lamont is definitely no stranger to success, becoming a national award-winning barber in Wahl's national barber competition (2010) and becoming a three-time author, with his latest book release (April 2023) of "102 Questions for Business Beyond The Chair".

Also as an award-winning public speaker, through Toastmasters International, Lamont is familiar and very comfortable with embracing and impacting a variety of audiences. His mission is to impart into other barbers and cosmetologist, what has been imparted into him.

Our Future Is Now!Our Jr. Barber Academy Course tends to fill up fast, so make sure to sign up today to reserve your spot. We recruit inspiring junior high school age barbers, both male & female to introduce them to the world of barbering.

We educate them on the proper sanitation of clippers/tools, along with how to perform a few basic haircuts. This program gas been inspired by junior high school students in Phoenix, Az.

Grooming Our Future

One Speech At A TimeGrooming Our Future Workshop is a youth initiative, which has been a great benefit for many of our high school students in the past. We originally launched this program in Chicago (2015) with great success at Urban Prep High School.

Your school can join the tour and have one of our impact speakers deliver a dynamic, tailored-made, inspirational speech to your students, while simultaneously cutting hair on stage.

WHAT METHOD OF PAYMENT CAN I USE TO PAY FOR MY COURSE??

You can use a variety of electronic payment methods. You can call one of our representatives and use your debit card or credit over the phone. You can also use our business cash app ($AmericasBarberCoach), Zelle and PayPal.

WILL I RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION AT THE END OF MY COURSE?

Yes. You will receive an authentic and signed certificate of completion via email upon your satisfactory completion of your course.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Your 10% deposit to secure your virtual and in-person, classroom seat is non-refundable. Your reoccuring monthly payment is charged before your four (4) monthly sessions begin.

Therefore, once payment is received for your upcoming four (4) monthly sessions, it is non-refundable.

However, you can cancel your educational course 7 business days prior to the first session of your upcoming four (4) monthly sessions. Business days does not include weekends and holidays.

CAN I RECEIVE CEU HOURS AFTER COMPLETING MY PRACTICAL TRAINING COURSE?

Yes, you can receive CEU hours depending on which state(s) you are licensed in.
